I’ll tell you all about the new game and how it kicked my ass authority now on Clevver Games. Hi everyone, I’m Andrea Rene and this day I’m speaking about THQ’s new fitness game UFC Personal Trainer, The Ultimate Fitness System. I first took a look at this game at E3 this year for the Xbox 360′s Kinect and really had fun with it. Therefore I decided I better take a soul look and see provided it genuinely works you out. I first popped within the disc and went through the setup. I have played many Kinect games before and was a little annoyed that I had to move my coffee table and my couch out of the track. Thus aft a failed first attempt I brought it to the Clevver Work and gave it a whirl here, and even taped it for you! There are a variety of workouts and programs to choose from. You can commit 1 day or 60 days, but like any fitness game, it’s all about what you want to get out of it. After associate inspirational spirit talk, I got correct into the first workout. You can choose your focus, weight loss, muscle building, or endurance. I chose to start with endurance to see how out of shape I genuinely am. Then the workout began, it was all beautiful standard moves. More push-ups, squats, shoulder presses, and other usual suspects. But the module I really loved was working next to the mits. This is where the Kinect really shines. At first I thought it was overly easy but as soon as my coach picked up the pace my heart rate jumped. After some more standard muscle strengthening exercises I decided to try out the heavy bag, yep, it was pink with zebra stripes, loved it! The heavy bag allows you to improvise by choosing your own pace and deciding what mix of punches and kicks you want to use. It really got my heart rate going. I was running right along sampling what this game had to offer, until I got stumped at the speed bag. If you’ve ever used one of these bad boys in real life you know that it takes rhythm and timing on with endurance, and apparently I had neither. I’ll enjoy to practice au fait that. Although you could get a intense sweat just from trying all the different activities, you can get a more balanced workout by choosing to train in one of three gyms, and selecting a pre-made or customizable workout. . I chose pre-made, and was littler disappointed that the opening exercises were the same, but hey, it’s purely the warm up right? So far, that’s my biggest complaint, the repetitiveness of the exercises, and the trainer commentary! {footage of commentary} I’ve played a number of other workout games and seen my fair share of workout DVDs so I was hoping all for a teentsy more creativity on the motivational side. But so utmost, I’m impressed with the game. Using the Kinect and not having to hold controllers is a huge plus piece you’re in the middle of sweat, simply if you poorness to skip an exercise or pause you’ve to find your controller. And you shall inevitably hurry into tracking problems where you know you did those extra kicks, but your trainer doesn’t count them. More calories burned I guess? My biggest problem though is this, if you need to give up in the middle of an exercise it doesn’t save your progress. Sometimes, the phone rings, cause knocks on your door, or you just get tired, that does not mean the work you adjoin already shouldn’t count. I’m going to try retired the 30 morning program and report back to you guys how it works and supply a more than deep look. If you privation to endeavor it out for yourself or act upon the programme near me, you can bring up UFC Personal Trainer for the Kinect, the Wii, or the Playstation Move.
